Our compulsory school day runs from 8:50am to 3:15pm, providing 32.5 hours of compulsory school time each week.

At Whitchurch Primary School, every day and every minute of learning matters. Regular attendance and punctuality give children the best possible opportunity to learn, build friendships and achieve their best.

Our expectation is simple:

In school. On time. Every day.

We understand that mornings can sometimes be challenging, and traffic and parking around school can be busy. Families can help by allowing plenty of time for the journey, walking where possible or attending our free breakfast club that starts at 8:15am. 

If attendance or punctuality is becoming difficult for your family, please talk to us. We want to work in partnership with families to understand any barriers and provide support wherever we can.
