Snow 2009
"Achieving our best together"
At the beginning of February 2009, there was heavy snowfall around the country. The next day at Whitchurch Primary the school looked beautiful in brilliant sunshine as can be seen in the photographs.
Children were very excited to take part in a class snowman building competition. This helped them to learn how to work as part of a team, whilst exercising. The competition was judged on how well each class worked as a team and creative end results!
Winners of the competition were Year 2 who created not only a fantastic snowman, but gave him a bonfire and little animal friends.
Second was Year 3 who also created a garden for their snowman and third was year 6, who built the biggest snowman!
As you can see everyone had a brilliant time!
