Dick Whittington Panto 2007
"Achieving our best together"

In December 2007, children of Key Stage 2 performed the pantomime, Dick Whittington, at Whitchurch Primary School.
The story was set in Bristol, it was about a young lad called Dick Whittington. He had a cat called Toodles. Dick was poor and didn’t have a job. He got a job in Bristol and fancied a girl called Alice from the first time he ever met her, but the evil King of the rats nearly killed them, as Alice, Dick and Mr Fitzwarren plus many other characters sailed to Morocco. At the end Toodles defeated King rat and Dick and Alice got married. Dick was also made Lord Mayer of the city.
The pantomime went really well. All of the audience loved watching it and it was great entertainment. Everybody who took part in the pantomime really enjoyed practising and performing.
All of the practising paid off!
We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents and staff who worked so hard to help the children create such a brilliant show.
