Bath Abbey Carol Service 2007

 "Achieving our best together"

On Tuesday 11th December 2007, Year 3 and Year 6 children were lucky enough to visit Bath Abbey for the 'School's Carol Service'. The children of Whitchurch Primary were joined by many other schools from Bath and North East Somerset. The Abbey was luminous, lit by hundreds of candles. The children were welcomed by the Reverend Debbie Dewes. The atmosphere was magical as the festive service began. The children sang a range of Christmas carols that included: O Little Town of Bethlehem Come and Join the Celebration The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy Away in a Manger The Happiest Time of Year I'm a Little Christmas Cracker Hark the Herald Angels Sing O Come All Ye Faithful Many parents managed attend the service and support their children. It was a dazzling event that our school hopes to attend again next year.
